Lewis Strike Gold Project (Yukon) Bookmark and Share

First Lithium has entered into an option agreement to earn 100% interest in 25 lode Quartz mineral claims (approx. 522 hectares) located in west-central Yukon, roughly 10 km east of the border of Underworld Resources Inc.'s (UW - TSX:V) White Gold Property. UW have announced gold intercepts of 103 meters of 3.4 g/t, 31.2 m of 9.20 g/t, 2.47 g/t over 63 m, 100.4 m of 3.13 g/t and 2.68 g/t over 75 m throughout the course of 2009 while exploring their sediment and vein-hosted gold targets.

Underworld's recent drilling is expanding their Golden Saddle zone further along strike to the east, directly toward First Lithium's claims.

The claims appear to host similar metasedimentary stratigraphy as the Underworld White Gold project area as outlined in mapping by Gordey and Ryan from GSC mapping.

FLR has completed a high resolution, multi-sensor geophysical survey using a helicopter flying survey lines at 100 meter spacings. Preliminary results show a number of magnetic and radiometric anomalies which most likely reflect bedrock lithology, structure, and alteration.

The airborne geophysical results will be further interpreted and integrated with other geological and geochemical data to identify targets for follow-up exploration in the 2010 field season. In addition to the airborne geophysics, FLR will be using techniques which have proven useful for new gold discoveries in the Whitegold area, including multi-element analyses of deep soil samples collected using a power auger.

The tonnages, grades, and other technical data are taken from historical estimates prior to the implementation of NI 43-101. A qualified person as defined under NI 43-101 has not done sufficient work to classify the historical estimate as current mineral resources or mineral reserves. First Lithium Resources is not treating the historical estimates as current mineral resources or mineral reserves as defined in NI 43-101 and the historical estimate should not be relied upon.
